In the beginning

February 28, 2007

Remember the song “ Yesterday all my troubles seemed so far away – Now I need a place to hide away etc. We all have these feelings at certain times in our lives.

The past is part of our journey  and whilst the future is perhaps a mystery the present is a gift where we are given the opportunity to be mindful of our thoughts words, deeds and actions. We  are then taking  responsibility for the choices made at the time. How we live and act right now can indeed affect our entire future!

As a singer/teacher and composer it is essential to stay in tune with the here and now even though uncomfortable at times with life’s constant trials and tribulations.

Presently I am working on a series of songs commissioned by the Inspirational Arts Festival, set for April 25th at the 20th Century Theatre, Notting Hill.

Bookings can be made  on 0207
229 4179.  It is the first festival of its kind in
London where artists are chosen for their work centered with the purpose to uplift the spirit through music, poetry and art. It is perfect timing  to demonstrate how the imagination can increase awareness towards beauty truth and harmony. The outer world  has shown us how the opposite can occur when we allow the lower emotions totake control in preference to co-creating with the celestial realms and  acts of  loving kindess.

There may be times when  we all sense benevolent forces working through us, particularly during moments of creativity . When we centre our work with  purity of intention it is giving nectar to a higher force where the  imagination begins to mingle with the hierarchy and one may receive in accordance with the quality of our unique gifts and aspiratioms.

My purpose is to simply act as a catalyst or messenger through songs and poetry  or other conscious art forms to bring more light and love. You may wish to check out my website with some of my mystical jazz and pop CDs on www.lindaangelismusic.com

Titles Lady of Light and Look Inside.

I also take on a few students who want to either learn to sing or write their own songs with the purpose of becoming a professional artist or simply for fun / therapy at my recording studio in
Surrey.
